Changing Horses, Ben Kweller’s fourth studio album, was released in February 2009 after being delayed from September 2008. However, in November 2008, the album leaked online, though ATO Records said it wasn’t the full album.
The album features Chris Morrissey on bass, Mark Steprowhich on drums and Kitt Kitterman on pedal steel guitar.
Kweller has described this album as being more “country” than his past albums, with song titles like ‘Hurtin You,” “Gypsy Rose” and “Sawdust Man.”
